Apparently, it's because the color inside a mother's womb is pink. It's the color of the world we were completely inside for 10 months before being born. That's why everyone likes pink. My mother was unwell, so the color of the mucous membrane inside her stomach might have been a little off.
Because ever since I was old enough to understand, I've always liked purple the most.
